We are getting out of the pandemic; the world is witnessing a buoyant cargo market. While I speak, air cargo is up 7.7% in August Versus Pre-COVID Levels, so you imagine the level of optimism and bullishness in the mind of all cargo and logistics industry professional.\u201d<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Talking specifically about the air cargo scenario, he mentioned, \u201cWe serve carriers who experienced more than 15.4% rise in international cargo volumes in August 2021 versus August 2019, an improvement compared to the previous month (13.4%). The large Middle East\u2013Asia trade lanes continue to post strong performance, from which we as producers and consumers benefit a lot. Moreover, Middle Eastern carriers also reported the largest improvement in August amongst all regions. Keeping all the above in mind I strongly feel we are steadily and gradually moving to the green zone and this is sustainable.\u201d<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

The Dubai Expo 2020 exposes to the world what the prospective future of logistics will look like. The logistic companies in Dubai are accelerating rapidly in the entire UAE and are acting as the motor for the economy\u2019s growth, which will help strengthen the bilateral trade with the countries like India. \u201cThe Indian pavilion at the Dubai Expo is showcasing the Krishi Udaan project to create enhanced interest in the minds of global consumers and large buyers. Also, I have lived and worked in UAE for close to two decades, everything they do, they do very well. I am sure Dubai 2020 Expo will be a big success,\u201d he added. \u00a0Dubai-based developer Emaar and several UAE-based logistics companies have shown interest in investing in India\u2019s infrastructure sector, according to Piyush Goyal, Indian Minister for Commerce and Industry, Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution, and Textiles, who was in UAE for the inauguration of India Pavilion at the Expo.<\/p>\r\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
